About Me

My name is Louise ('Lou') Astridge. Back in 2013, I was gifted my first pyrography pen to try my hand at this unique art. Coupled with an endless supply of beautiful wood from my family's timber mill I was completely hooked. My first and favourite wood is the beautiful Silver Birch hence the name 'Silver Burnings' was born.
