Pyrography Artwork
Pyrography (aka woodburning) is the art of using a small heated element to burn designs and images onto wood, leather and gourds. By varying the temperature and the way the heat is applied many different tones and shades can be applied to create a beautiful image.
I started pyrography in 2013 and developed a love for the craft over the years. As an avid animal lover much of my work features wildlife from across the globe. I primarily work on Silver Birch due to the fine unobtrusive grain but have also used Sycamore, Lime, Cherry & Hornbeam to name a few. Many of these blanks can be found here.
