Pyrography (aka woodburning) is the art of using a small heated element to burn designs and images onto wood, leather and gourds. By varying the temperature and the way the heat is applied many different tones and shades can be applied to create a beautiful image.
Louise started pyrography back in 2013 and has developed her love for the craft over the years. As an avid animal lover many of her works feature wildlife from across the globe. She primarily works on Silver Birch due to the fine unobtrusive grain but has also used Sycamore, Lime, Cherry & Hornbeam to name a few. Many of these blanks can be found here.
