'B' Grade

What is it?

You may notice some items are marked as 'B' Grade. I try to be completely honest about all my products and whilst a few defects in wood are completely normal some are a bit too extreme to make the top grade.

So what makes it 'B' Grade?

I classify items with extreme defects that effects both sides of the timber as B Grade. These can be holes in the wood, saw cuts or large splits (longer than 2")

Here are some examples:

Excessive discolouration and split
Saw cut
Branch cut

So while they may not be the prettiest pieces they are a good affordable way to practice and develop your skills!
